About Us
Hermin Exilus
Owner, Funeral Director Intern
Hermin has been an integral part of the Broward County community for 36 years. His entire professional career has been driven by the passion and dedication to serve others. Hermin launched his professional career nearly thirty years ago as an insurance agent, real estate broker, and accountant. Hermin Earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Nova Southeastern University and a doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health Sciences formerly known as Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. As a believer in continuous self-improvement through education, Hermin decided to continue his education at Miami Dade College where he completed his funeral services studies and is currently working as a funeral director intern. Guided by that same spirit of service, Hermin founded Compassion Funeral Chapel, LLC to continue to serve grief-stricken families. Hermin intends to utilize all his professional and business experiences to better serve the community in the highly emotional and sensitive field of funeral services.
Gladjina Telifort
Administrator
Gladjina Telifort serves as the Administrator of Compassion Funeral Chapel, LLC, where she oversees daily operations with a focus on excellence, organization, and compassionate care. With a background in social work, she is dedicated to supporting families with professionalism and sensitivity during life’s most difficult moments.
She is currently pursuing her master's degree in psychology, further enhancing her ability to provide thoughtful guidance and meaningful support. Gladjina is committed to ensuring every family receives a seamless, respectful, and dignified experience.
Michael Banea
Director and Embalmer
Michael Banea, Funeral Director and Embalmer, has been serving South Florida families for 30 years and is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago, Illinois. Compassion Funeral Chapel staff is ready to help you and your family with professionalism and care during difficult times.
